Product Description

The plate sterilizer is a highly efficient sterilization equipment that utilizes plate heat exchange technology to continuously heat, sterilize, and cool liquid food products. It is widely applied in the food processing industries such as dairy products, fruit juice beverages, plant-based protein drinks, condiments, beer, and liquid eggs. The equipment centers on stainless steel plate heat exchangers, where multiple corrugated plates form heat exchange channels enabling thorough thermal interaction between the product and heating medium. This rapidly heats the product to the set temperature within a short timeframe, achieving pasteurization or high-temperature instantaneous sterilization.

During production, the material first enters the buffer tank to stabilize the liquid level. It is then conveyed via sanitary pumps into the plate heat exchanger for preheating, where it recovers heat from the already sterilized hot material to enhance energy efficiency. Subsequently, the material rapidly heats up to the sterilization temperature in the heating zone using steam-heated circulating hot water. It is then held in the holding pipes for a specific duration to ensure effective sterilization. After sterilization, the material is rapidly cooled to the filling or storage temperature through the cooling system. The equipment features a PLC automatic control system and temperature sensors for real-time monitoring and automatic temperature regulation. Should the material temperature fail to reach the set value, the system automatically recirculates the material for re-sterilization to ensure product quality and safety.

The entire unit is constructed from food-grade stainless steel, featuring a hygienic design, stable operation, and support for CIP (Clean-in-Place) cleaning. Plate sterilizers offer advantages including high heat transfer efficiency, high heat recovery rates, low energy consumption, high automation, compact footprint, and easy maintenance.
